Dear Readers,
Recently I have been feeling rather lethargic, scrolling through photo's of previous holidays and trying to remind myself what it felt like to have a tan. It's fair to say that 'summer' in England is just a pathetic attempt at mild weather, never mind actually being sunny. I hope I'm not the only person who scrolls continually through their Instagram and Facebook feeds till they find their tanned selfies, back when life was easy and a tan didn't come from a fake tan bottle and a dodgy mitt.
With all this horrible weather, I thought it was time to treat myself to a summery candle. When I saw that Yankee Candle's new summer range included a scent entitled 'Riviera Escape' I knew I had to have it. The scent is crisp and floral and it's light blue colour is reminiscent of the waters along the french riviera. It just takes me back to my holiday in Monaco last year.
