Dear Readers,
It just so happened that this years Thakeham Family Fun Day in the glorious setting of Petworth Park, was taking place on the same day as Luc's and my Birthday.
This was a great opportunity to invite family and friends along for the day and enjoy the food, fun fair rides and summer sun.
Each and every year the gathering brings together the Thakeham workers and their families and friends. The day was packed with everything from face painting and bouncy castles to carousel rides. It was also the perfect time to embrace my inner child again - Yes I did get involved in the children's activities!
