My Summer Essentials

Here are some of my go to/favourite essentials that I like to use in the summer months:

My absolute favourite makeup wipes are from Primark. At only £1 per pack I can afford to buy in bulk - they smell great and last ages too

I love to use my Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 to capture memories in a more creative way

Such a bargain product and it is my go to product when priming my face for my foundation

Admittedly, my hair gets super tangled post-swimming pool or post-shower and it is this Elvive Extraordinary Oil, and only this which manages to untangle and smooth out the knots without using a brush or comb. As I tend to use it even more in the summer time, the smell just reminds me of all the holidays I have been on when I used this in my hair.

New Summer Shades - £8 at Dorothy Perkins

This cream protects from chlorinated and salt water and also acts as a sun cream for the hair which provents the sun from bleaching out colour treated hair. It's on the pricier side as it costs around £10 for 75ml, but is definitely an investment. Apply directly to damp hair and leave in.

It is important to have a scent that screams summer. For me, there are a few which are my summer smells - this year it is Marc Jacobs 'Daisy Dream'

A good quality waterproof mascara is crucial in the summer months as makeup tends to sweat off the face. Reduce panda eyes with the Dior Extase £25 or Dior Diorshow Iconic Extreme Wear High Intensity Lash Curling Mascara (Waterproof) £24.50
